Last year a few of us went in a shared vehicle to Amaravati Buddhist Monastery (located a few miles from Hemel Hempstead) to listen to a talk by Ajahn Sumedho. We are planning on another visit. Please vote on which one you would like to go to. We'll go to the one with the most votes. The talks run from 2pm - 4pm. Refreshments are available. It will take about an hour to get there and back. BODHI DAY: Come and join us in celebrating the day that the Buddha became enlightened. On Sunday 7th December 2008 at the University of Surrey, 10 am-12 noon. There will be the showing of a video, and lots of flowers, fruit and smiles. Put it in your diary now - details to follow.
